What Is Environmental Engineering ?

 It is the application of science and engineering to improve air, water and land for human habitation and for other organisms. It can also be described as a branch of science and technology in which the problems of energy preservation, production asset and control of waste from human and animal activities are addressed.

The principal environmental engineering specialties are air-quality control, water supply, wastewater disposal, stormwater management, solid-waste management, and hazardous-waste management. Other specialties include industrial hygiene, noise control, oceanography, and radiology.
